Hugh Gilbert, PT
Knight Templar (IOGT);
Philosopher; Physical Therapist; Author; Facilitated
Healer; Ordained Minister of Spiritual Peacemaking; and
Registered Independent Medical Consultant.
It was through Hugh and
his focus that the concept of this conference was
birthed. As an internationally recognized gifted
healer, Hugh has been privileged to work with many of
the new children in their many forms, including many
with Autism.
Through his strong
natural connection with the children he has listened to
the spoken and unspoken messages they bring, he came to
realize the urgency in offering a conference of this
nature at this time.
His passion is to discover and
offer practical, simple solutions for all who are facing
the apparent challenges presented by these children.
Each child
brings their own special gifts and talents to the planet, and
along with these, they bring daily challenges for parents,
caregivers, teachers and anyone else on their path to align with
their spirit and intellect. “Find the bridges to the children
that are already in place and connect these pathways with as
many people a possible. Uncover the places where there are no
bridges and build them.” This has to be our mission is Hugh’s
creed. Hugh invites you to join in this quest to solve the
stresses in so many of our adult generation while also turning
our children’s pain and loneliness to joy.
This conference has been crafted
to enable all those who attend to be able to leave with new
understandings and effective tools that will make everyone’s
role much easier. The design of this conference is such that
all people, whether an adult Indigo themselves, or someone who
has contact with the new children, will derive great benefit and
growth from attending. Hugh extends his warm welcome to all.

Darnelda truly enjoys people
– their quirks and their passions, their sorrows
and their joys. While still very young, she
started questioning “faith” – not only what it
means but what was true for her. This led her
outward and then ultimately inward as she
re-evaluated her beliefs, her truths and her
life. She now embraces spirituality in all it
guises and likes who she has become. She uses
her beliefs to nurture and empower others
through personal and business coaching.
Darnelda has 20+ years of
experience in education, business development,
management, marketing, events management, and
project management. She has extensive training
in personal development and leadership, and has
facilitated workshops internationally to
government, corporate and community
organizations. Darnelda assists others with
healing through the use of tuning forks,
Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection.
She is an avid learner, loves
gardening, birds, and chocolate. She is the mother of 3
adult children and has 1 grandchild. Her and her
husband reside in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Through knowing Hugh Gilbert and Jane
Wardlaw and learning about the special children Hugh
works with, she realized that not only had she raised at
least one Indigo successfully to adulthood, she was most
likely one herself. Fascinated, she started learning
about the “new children” and, wanting to learn more,
offered her skills to the conference. She is honoured
to be part of the group bringing this very valuable
information to the general public and is looking to have
it become a mainstream conversation.

Through the Eyes of a Child
(the official song of the conference, and
playing on our
home page) was inspired by Helen DeVos who
spoke these words at the dedication of the Helen
DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids,
Michigan, in September of 1993.
A little more than 10 years later, I had the
privilege of meeting a beautiful and talented
little girl there who has since been
successfully treated at this hospital, and who
forever touched my heart. This song is dedicated
to her, and to her new life.
