On March 12, 2004 my son Patrick was diagnosed
with autism. The diagnosis alone was difficult
to acquire let alone accept.
There was no hope nor help. When I finally
pieced together the pieces of the puzzle, I
vowed that this shall happen to no family that
knows me.
In January of 2006, I had the great fortune to
meet Dr. Bernard Rimland of the autism research
institute.
We decided that I was to have translated into
Spanish the DAN! (defeat autism now) "protocol"
and begin to recover Mexico and then Latin
America.

A few months later we bought the same hyperbaric chamber
that gave my son his speech back in 32 sessions. On
December 1st 2006 we opened the doors of the
Autism O2
Centre in Puerto Vallarta, complete with physician and
a fully trained staff !
In 8 short months and very limited exposure, we have
seen 56 children. Some are from families from the area.
And others hear about us through the grape vine. All of
the children who have visited us are better than before
they arrived. Many are on their way to a full recovery.
95% of the families who we see are from low or very low
income brackets.

Autism
02 Center (Defeat Autism Now), Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
We are always in need of donations. We are the only
not-for-profit in Mexico dedicated to the full recovery
of children on the autism spectrum. Of the donations
that we have received and those that we will receive in
the future, 100% goes toward the vitamins, minerals,
supplements and tests that the children need of those
parents who need it and who are committed to the
recovery of their children.
It is very satisfying to see the children begin to
return to their families. Hopefully if you are ever in
Puerto Vallarta you will stop by and meet us. It is a
great place to visit.
With Love,
Kerri Rivera,
Co Founder / Director
DAN! Mexico.
